Our members include hundreds of large and small businesses employing over 19,000 workers representing industrial, commercial, retail, professional and home based businesses. Solon is proud to be named in 2011 as the third best city to live in by Money Magazine thanks to our excellent businesses, schools and community.

Digital_e_City_SmSolon is also proud that we’ve been recognized as Ohio’s digital capital in the 2013 Google eCapital Awards. “Science Olympiad-winning students have made Solon a tech star, and the Cleveland suburb also leads Ohio’s digital way,” according to Google. “Its online business community connects local shops and restaurants with residents and visitors.”

We are an active organization that provides opportunities to build business relationships through programs and events that target the various sectors we serve. In addition to providing programs, we serve as advocates for our business community and provide cost-saving benefits, making the Solon Chamber the perfect partner to help your business thrive.

One of the reasons we were recognized by Google as Ohio’s digital capital is the Shop Solon First website created by the Solon Chamber of Commerce. It is a coalition of locally minded independent businesses, citizens, and organizations working to promote our vibrant community. Go check it out for yourself and Shop Solon First!
